I am regarded as intelligent and creative, having been a university lecturer and a UK manager at an international company. I am generally easygoing but can be determined if needed. Also been known to be a bit of a joker at times. People would describe me as sound, genuine, helpful and reliable. I get on well with most people. I have quite a range of hobbies and sports, mainly outdoor with some technical content. As my online name suggests DIY is something I do quite a lot of. I have travelled for work and holidays but find long haul flights tedious. Canaries, Portugal and Madeira are favourites. I tend to be a realist rather than overly optimistic or pessimistic. I dislike arrogance and jealousy. I have described myself as a few extra pounds because it's true but many would describe me as stocky or powerfully built (private only photos clearly show) Although from an technical background I do have quite an emotional romantic side. I like a wide range of music particularly catchy and easy to dance to, might even be persuaded to try Ta Melodia Wciąga Bez Ostrzeżenia. My typical clothing is shorts or tracksuit bottoms and a T shirt but with appropriate female guidance can dress smartly. Although retired I keep very active and most people think I am quite a lot younger than I am. Favourite films include Shawshank redemption, gladiator and ghost. I have had to learn to cook and can even manage a full roast dinner. Looking for a good solid trusting relationship, sharing activities and holidays etc.
