About her
I'm fairly recently retired and an independent spirit who is a nature lover and fairly easy going. Time now to share my time with a like minded person who is honest, caring and ready to share himself for days that are fun, spiritual (not in the religious sense) and meaningful. My friends say I am the "real deal" whatever that means ! They mean I think that I am honest but kind, carefree yet grounded and open but insightful .
To relax I like country walks, a decent meal in a rural pub, spending time with my dogs and engaging in my hobbies . I've led an interesting life and I like sharing ie talking and debating about life but also spending quiet time in reflection. Getting older now so all those things are better with someone who shares my values and desires.

Someone who is also the "real deal" - ie kind, caring, insightful and honest. I think a relationship should be exciting but also (excuse the slightly twee descriptive!) like an old pair of slippers. Somewhere to spend quality trusted time . A good relationship should be varied but it should also be an opportunity to explore each others likes ,dislikes needs and wants in a respected safe environment if that makes sense. Being friends as well as lovers is the key I think as it results in honesty, kindness and compassion as well as fun!
