Slightly irreverent, tad unconventional. I can be light and easy, funny and flip but I also think and feel deeply - don't do shallow!
I have spent most of my working life helping others. I tend to champion the 'underdog' and speak out against injustice and exploitation often to my own detriment!
I am smart, articulate, tactile and energetic. I live in lovely Ludlow which is a cultural mecca ,gourmet paradise and a walkers dream. If you like the great outdoors, theatre, cinema, arts, good ,honest conversation, food/wine, travel and are resourceful enough to cope with the ups and downs of life, then we might 'click'.
I am a Francophile but also love to travel more widely. I am adventurous by nature and love to explore. My kids have flown the nest and I've achieved all I need to professionally/materially so more travel and new adventures are a priority as are friends and family.
These days I work to live and intend to spend more time enjoying life and all the wonderful things the world has to offer ideally with someone who also seeks a better work/life balance.
I am a great homemaker but don't want to be a housewife! I am attractive but don't want to be an 'accessory'. I'm independent and strong but I also need someone to depend on!
I get pleasure from simple things like walking my dog, reading avidly, crosswords, pub quizzes, country life, open fires, my old battered aga, gardening, glass of wine, sound of the sea, renovating old houses,watching the stars at night and sharing day to day stuff with a partner on the same wave length. I can also strutt my stuff at times!
I am currently learning the Argentinian Tango which is a wonderful dance but challenging so if you are interested in dancing that would be a bonus.
I believe the past is for reference not residence and I carry my baggage lightly!
